The Wild Child
You might have the ‘wild child’The one who speaks their mindThe one who doesn’t listenWhere patience is hard to find
The one who does it on their ownWho doesn’t need your helpWith stubborn ways, and on those daysWill turn you inside out
The one that they call ‘naughty’Where strangers roll their eyesThe one labelled as ‘hard’Who often yells, or cries
But often it’s forgottenThese ones aren’t really ‘wild’They’re tiny humans learningAnd, in fact, they’re just a child
They’re the ones who feel things deeplyWho will have a voice that’s strongThey’ll lead with that big heart of theirsAnd stand up to what is wrong
